WKish Architects is available for new projects

William Kish is an architect with over 40 years of experience in construction. Based in Blaydon, in Tyne and Wear, his practice WKish Architects specialises in offering affordable, quality solutions for a wide range of projects, from domestic extensions and alterations to industrial projects.

William Kish began his career as an architectural technologist in 1977, before qualifying as an architectural technician in 1982. He went on to earn his degree in Architecture at the University of Manchester, and became an ARB registered architect in 1990. By 1996, he was named an Equity Partner of a regional practice based in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he gained experience in business strategy and financial management as well as the implementation of numerous architectural projects. With extensive experience in conservation, William Kish additionally earned his accreditation as a RIBA Registered Conservation Architect.

William Kish Architects offers solid technical and craft-based knowledge, as well as financial expertise including cost estimations, valuations and budget forecasting. In addition to over 10 years of experience in project management, the architect has also developed his knowledge of funding application techniques (Heritage Lottery, Big Lottery, Arts Council, Education Funding Agency, Condition Improvement Funding bids, etc.) and also has several years of experience in Building Condition surveys. 

WKish Architects specialises in domestic extensions and alterations of all types, including designing and managing projects in ‘live’ environments, from inhabited homes to shop floors. The studio integrates contemporary design and modern living requirements into existing architecture, whether in traditional urban or suburban contexts or in sensitive environments such as conservation areas.
